Mercy Chefs is selected as LegalZoom Non-profit of the Year Finalist!

Mercy Chefs was selected as a candidate for this year's LegalZoom Non-Profit of the Year Award. We were one of nine finalists, selected from hundreds of worthy new organizations from across the country. LegalZoom selected Mercy Chefs as a finalist based on several factors, including long term promise for growth, quality of programs or services, and unique contributions to the community.

We need you to partner with us today with your tax deductible gift!

The first of two kitchen trailers is now complete and we need partners to help us equip it. We have a tentative contract to begin the second trailer as soon as February. We have raised $40,000 to date for this trailer and we need another $80,000 by May in order to meet the goal of being prepared to feed 200,000 meals a month by hurricane season. Our three year goal is a 1,000,000 a month capacity.

Young Mercy Chefs help feed volunteers rebuilding in Louisiana

Mercy Chefs is off to Chalmette, Louisiana in August to relieve a kitchen crew and then again in September and October to feed God’s Pit Crew for three weeks while they do an extreme makeover reclamation of a devastated church in New Orleans hardest hit area, the Lower 9th Ward. More.

Mercy Chefs responds to need in Conklin New York

Nearly a month after flood waters receded communities still lie broken and strewn about. Exhausted volunteer workers at the Conklin Presbyterian Church along the banks of the Susquehanna River were doing well but needed a break after four weeks of cooking. More.
